Person-Centered Individual Counseling

No two people arrive for the same reasons, so no two treatment plans should look the same. Individual sessions are built around your history, your goals, and the obligations you cannot simply set aside.

Scheduled around your life

2–5pm

Monday–Thursday

Afternoon individual sessions, outside group hours, so you can attend without rearranging your whole week.

11am–4pm

Fridays

A wider Friday window for clients whose schedules do not allow a weekday afternoon.

Telehealth possible

Individual sessions may be offered by telehealth where clinically appropriate. Group treatment is always in person.

What person-centered actually means here

It means you are not handed a curriculum. Your counselor — a licensed alcohol and drug counselor — works with you to set goals you actually recognize as yours, and revisits them as circumstances change.

  • Individual assessment and a treatment plan written with you, not for you
  • Your choice about who is involved — family, peers, legal professionals, or no one
  • Sessions on their own, or alongside our Intensive Outpatient Program
  • Referral to Medication-Assisted Treatment if it would help
  • Somali-speaking staff available

Your privacy

Substance use treatment records carry protections beyond ordinary medical privacy. We communicate with outside parties only with your appropriate consent, and you decide who is involved in your recovery.

Insurance we accept

Most major Minnesota plans are accepted. Call and we will verify your coverage before your first visit.

Ready when you are

Call during business hours to speak with our intake team, or send a request and we will reach out. Referrals from probation officers, hospitals, and case managers are welcome.
