Why MAT works

Medication plus counseling

Medication alone treats the physiology. Counseling addresses what surrounds it. MAT means both, coordinated by the same team.

Clinically supervised

Dosing and progress are monitored throughout, and adjusted as your recovery changes. Nothing is set and forgotten.

Evidence-based

MAT is the standard of care for opioid use disorder, recognized by SAMHSA and the National Institute on Drug Abuse.

How it fits with the rest of your treatment

MAT at Reform Recovery is delivered alongside our other services rather than in isolation. Many clients receive medication support while attending morning IOP groups; others work with an individual counselor on a schedule that fits around their job.

  • Assessment with our clinical team to determine whether MAT is appropriate for you
  • Ongoing monitoring and adjustment under clinical supervision
  • Individual counseling scheduled outside group hours — afternoons Monday through Thursday, or 11:00am–4:00pm Friday
  • Coordination with your prescriber, primary care provider, or referring hospital with your consent
  • Somali-speaking staff available
